Is the root דב related to the root זב?

It would explain many words derived from דבlike:a) דבש –honey, because it oozes? b) דבלה–circle of figs, because they also ooze? c)דבק –sticky, because substances that ooze are usually sticky? d) דביונים – pigeon feces, because it oozes from יונים?e)נדב –generously give, because generosity flows from giver? From the giver’s heart? f)דבא – flow?g)דבב –utter, words flow from one’s lips? h)דבר – speech, flows from mouth. Maybe a compound with בר, i.e. to articulate distinct & clearly defined words? i)דבה – rumor, expressed from mouth like דבב, etc.? j)דב – bear, because they grunt or hum? (like דבבetc)k)דבורה – bee, because it buzzes or hums (like דבבetc)?l)נב –also denotes speech, like ניבandנבא prophecy, since דטלנ“תletters are related?

Those seem to make a bit of sense. But what about: m) דביר? because it resembles the inner chamber of a bee hive (or because it was the place from where HaShem’s speech flowed forth? ודבר ה‘מירושלים?) or n)דבשת–camel’s hump, because it was often necessary to smear honey on it? (see מצודותon Isaiah 30:6), o)דאב – pain, because an oozing wound is painful?

And most of all, why can דבר(like in יַדְבֵּר) also mean to lead, subdueor destroy? Is it leadbecause one leads with speech? But how does that come to meanobliterate(ותדבר את כל זרע הממלכה) and subdue(וידבר עמים תחתינו)?

To end on a sweet note, I recall that someone here once linked דבto טףandצף, as in ונפת צופיםandצוף דבש, (since ד andט areאותיות דטלנ“ת, and ב andפ are both אותיות בומ“פ), that honey flows out and floats to surface. Can someone please post article or discussion again?
